This is a rare photograph of me not in a grumpy mood – possibly taken just after the Council withdrew its planning application for a Professional Football Club’s Training Facility on Turn Moss fields. Yes, I cannot deny it, I was against it. Since then, I have found myself reading a lot of long-winded documentation on a range of issues affecting different parts of Trafford, though chiefly North End, and getting grumpier as a result of the drivel and/or misinformation often found therein. Hence my desire to set up a blog as a way of getting such grumpiness off my chest, and to engage in hopefully profitable discussion with people of like or different views and the arguments to back them up.
Oh, and the other picture is the cover of my novel – a comic fantasy fairy story – just to prove that most of the time I am indeed away with the fairies.
